How Can You Donate?
Making a donation is easy. Look for State Fair on line 57b of Iowa's 1040 tax form. Simply fill out the amount you would like to donate. If you are receiving a refund the amount of your donation will be automatically deducted from your refund. If you owe taxes, simply add the donation to the amount you send in to the Department of Revenue.
Iowa's 1040 Tax Form:
Every penny of your donation is given to the Blue Ribbon Foundation - there are no administrative or processing expenses. The donation is tax deductible on the following years tax form just like other charitable giving.
Raising $1.9 million, the Checkoff has supplemented restoration projects from the Agricultural Building to Ye Old Mill. In addition, funds have helped improve the campgrounds, parking areas, sidewalks and restrooms. Click here for a complete list of Renovations.
