As we make our way through the month of February, the Blue Ribbon Foundation has an incredible opportunity for Iowa State Fair lovers to come together and support a new project for the youngest Fairgoers. An exciting, inclusive “Variety Star Playground” will be built on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in 2025!
This new playground will allow children and adults of all abilities to enjoy playing together, creating an environment that encourages connection and fun. Designed to inspire outdoor play and creativity, the new playground will have an agricultural theme with farm animals, complete with accessible ramp and smooth, easy-to-navigate surface. It’s a space where children of all abilities can play, encouraging physical activity, imagination, and friendship.
The Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation is thrilled to partner with Variety – the Children’s Charity of Iowa to create a special addition to the Fairgrounds. For the remainder of the month, we need your help to make a lasting difference.
