The T.A.G. team was formed by the Blue Ribbon Foundation to unite fairgoers with a shared passion of making the Iowa State Fairgrounds a better place. It is a simple concept; Together we can Accomplish our Goals. The 2025 goal is updating the Livestock Pavillion sound system to enhance engagement and ensure everyone is able to hear the outstanding events being held.
The Livestock Pavillion was built in 1902 and has undergone several improvements such as a new roof and air conditioning. To continue to meet modern standards we are updating the sound system to ensure clarity and reliability. Newer sound systems are designed to work efficiently in older buildings such as the Livestock Pavillion that have high ceilings, hard surfaces, and a unique architectural layout. With this sound system we are able to preserve the buildings' historic structure while giving fairgoers the best possible listening experience.
