Here at the Blue Ribbon Foundation, we have already begun receiving some fantastic nominations for this year’s Iowan of the Day Award program. From what I’ve seen so far, I think the selection committee has their work cut out for them to narrow down these outstanding citizens to just ten winners.
However, I know there are so many more Iowans who positively impact their community through their volunteering efforts, their leadership, and their work ethic that deserve to be recognized.
Winners will be recognized the first ten days of the 2024 Iowa State Fair August 8th-17th, and will receive:
- 4 Iowa State Fair admission tickets
- An Introduction on the Anne & Bill Riley Stage
- 4 Grandstand concert tickets on their day of recognition
- Use of the Iowan of the Day golf cart
- VIP Parking
- Accommodations at the Des Moines Marriott Downtown
- $200 cash
