Intern Update

With all eyes on Chicago patiently waiting for the big game to tip off tonight, we are having a quiet day at the office. On the other hand, this week has been very busy. We have had the newest intern start, have had several mass mailings in gearing up for the Corndog Kickoff and many auction items coming in. I can’t give you all the details, but this year’s “Locally Grown” theme will showcase Iowa made products and is sure to create lasting memories for everyone in attendance.

As we get ready for the second auction committee meeting in early April, I can see how much work and passion is put into making the Corndog Kickoff possible. Seeing the hard work and dedication that the staff and our many volunteers have, helps make the Iowa State Fair Blue Ribbon Foundation a success.

We are currently accepting patron forms for the 20th Annual Corndog Kickoff as well. If you would like to attend the Corndog Kickoff Benefit Auction and Fair Food Grazing Party, please find our electronic and printable patron form at our Patrons page. I look forward to seeing all of you in a few months at what is expected to be our best Corndog Kickoff yet.

If you have not found a program to participate in, there is still plenty of time before the March 31st deadline. Please find more information about all of the Foundation giving programs on our Ways to Give page.  The Foundation has many opportunities to show your support for the renovation and preservation efforts that help make the Iowa State Fair something that will stand the test of time!
